Q: What is an escape room?
A: Escape rooms are timed, room-size puzzles built around a certain story or theme. Come with a team or just a few close friends to challenge yourselves and see if you can outsmart our puzzle master!
Q: How much is it to play?
A: Our escape rooms are $20 for 60 minutes attempting to escape the room -- BUT we also offer matinee hours all night Thursday and before 3:30pm on Saturday & Sunday when you can play for $15.
Q: Are your escape rooms hard?
A: Each of our rooms is designed to be a challenge, but they are not unbeatable! Every room is solvable if you work as a team, and we give you a handy clue buzzer in case you ever get stumped. If this is your first ever visit to Jackson Escape Rooms, try the Jackson Escape Room. We built it as the perfect introduction to escape rooms and we really think you’ll like it.
Q: Are your rooms scary?
A: No, not really. We try our best to make our rooms inviting and exciting to be in. Nothing will jump out to scare you -- we love suspense but leave the chainsaws for the haunted houses.
Q: Am I going to feel claustrophobic?
A: Definitely not. Every room is spacious and comfortable, so while there be moments where the setting is a bit cozy, the rooms always open up. Plus, you have access to an emergency exit key if you need to get out for any reason.
Q: CAN my kids PLAY A JACKSON ESCAPE ROOM?
A: We have had children of all ages come and enjoy our rooms just as much (maybe more!) as many of the adults that have played. We just ask that children 12 and under be accompanied by an adult and any child 13-15 have an adult present at Jackson Escape Rooms.
Booking a Room
Q: can i walk up and play or do i have to make a reservation?
A: While there is the occasional exception, the popularity of Jackson Escape Rooms combined with the necessity for a fixed booking calendar makes it necessary for us to require advanced bookings. If you suddenly find yourself free, contact us by phone at 731.215.0871 and we can help you out.
Q: Can I pay with cash?
A: We have a no cash policy, as all of our bookings are made online through our easy-to-use booking system.
Q: CAN I RESERVE A ROOM FOR JUST MY GROUP EVEN IF WE DON'T MAX OUT THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS ALLOWED IN THE ROOM?
A: Absolutely! You can definitely reserve a room for just your group! When reserving a private room during regular business hours, be sure to book it as a "private room" so that other spots won’t get filled by people you don’t know. Having a private room allows you to bring the maximum occupancy of the room at no additional cost, but you would need to pay for additional spots if your group goes over maximum capacity.
Q: I have a group that wants to come play, but I can't afford to pay for the whole group up front -- what should I do?
A: We understand! You do have the ability to call and reserve a room but we will need to take a room deposit of $60 to make the booking. Please contact us through our email form or feel free to give us a call (731.215.0871) and we will be happy to help figure it out!
Q: My group of friends is a little larger than the max capacity of the room we want to play, is it possible to make that work?
A: It really depends on the room and the group. Please contact us through our email form or feel free to give us a call and we will be happy to help figure it out!
Q: The website says that each room has a suggested number of players -- Can we still play if we don't have that many?
A: Absolutely! Our recommended number is the amount of people we think would be ideal for solving all of our clues and making it out with time to spare. Feel free to bring a smaller group, but be aware that any unbooked spots may get booked by some soon to be new friends!
Q: If I am bringing a group of kids (ages 15 & under) to play a Jackson Escape Room. Is it ok for them to play by themselves?
A: It is ok for them to play a room by themselves, but we do ask that an adult be on the premises of Jackson Escape Rooms for the duration of their play.
Q: Can I book a room for my work group, class, or for a birthday party during the daytime?

Q: CAN YOU ACCOMmODATE a team building activity for my workplace?
A: We would love to make that happen for you! Q: DO YOU have meeting or events space?
A: We do not have a designated space configured for meetings, parties, or events -- but our lobby area is easily adapted to the needs of a group during hours we are not open to public bookings. Before You Play
Q: How early do I need to show up?
A: We ask that you show up 10-15 minutes early to check in and fill out your release forms. You can also fill them out online before you get here to help speed things up. The link to our release form is included in your confirmation email but you can also access it here.
Q: Where exactly is jackson escape rooms located?
A: We are located in Jackson, Tennessee at 217 E Deaderick Street in Downtown Jackson. (Important: Apple Maps has the name of our street wrong and will redirect you to 217 W Deaderick Street on the opposite side of N. Highlands from our building)
A map can be found on the Our Location page and step-by-step directions are included in the confirmation email that was sent when your booking was made.
Q: What is the gate code?
A: It is included in the confirmation email that was sent when your booking was made. Unfortunately we cannot post it publicly since it is a private lot reserved for Jackson Escape Rooms and the residents of the loft apartments that share our building. Please use the phone number on our Contact Us page and we will give you the code.
Q: I was told I have to fill out a release form but cannot seem to find it -- can you help me out?
A: Absolutely! Follow this link and it'll just take you a minute or two to complete.
Q: I have filled out the release form with you before. Do I need to fill out another one for a different room?
A: Sadly, yes you do. Our release forms are specific to each room so we need you to fill out one for every room you play. (We wish it could be another away #butinsurance).
Q: Can I drink alcohol, vape, or chew tobacco in the room?
A: Unfortunately no alcohol or tobacco is allowed in the rooms.
